Welcome

I try to update as often as I have time and I hope you enjoy the updates on the kids. Honestly, sometimes I forget about it until someone mentions to me that they check it for updates. I will try to stay on this and keep everyone posted on our family! Thanks!

My new hair!

Our friend Jeannie came over and cut Drew's hair. We are so happy that she did so that because I just don't think that a barber would have the patience for him. Thank you so much Jeannie! He looks adorable.
Drew was not the easiest customer but he did pretty good!

Day at the park with mom and dad

We have tried to enjoy the park as much as we can while it is still warm.

Halloween and Kiddie Parade

This was a fun Halloween for us. In case some of you don't know, Independence has a kiddie parade for children to dress up and show off there costumes. Well my sister and I decided that the kids needed to represent the National Champions this year! Who knows when KU will ever be the National Champs again and hey.... the kids couldn't complain this year! So we had two basketball players (Brandon and Drew), a jayhawk (Kyle) and a cheerleader (Serena).

Drew went trick-or-tricking to Grandmas. Drew didn't even know what the candy was, he thought they were noise makers. I am sure next year he will be a little more educated on the candy.

Which noise maker do I want?

Basketball boy!

Cousin Brandon took Drew for a ride in his car but apparently there was not enough room for his leg!

Pumpkin Patch

While visiting Mandy, Adam, Kyle and Brandon we took a trip to the pumpkin patch. Drew was not as excited about the pumpkins as I thought he would be but it was still a fun time. He loved the mud more than anything.
Check out how much he has grown since last year! This year he did not want to stand there but you can get the idea.

He loved running.

Drew and Grandma found a wagon!

Brandon and me. I had so much fun with him. The whole tractor ride out to the pumpkins he was saying in his not so quite voice "Mindy... is this a JOHN DEERE tractor!" Then on they way back we pointed out alllllllllll the good pumpkins. :)

Love this picture of Kyle. He found a great pumpkin!

Tumbling and Late Night in the Phog with cousins!

We took another road trip to see my sister and her family for a full weekend of fun. We started at the gym. The boys had a blast and the foam pit seemed to be the hit of the day. The kids spent the majority of the day playing in the pit. Then later that night we went to "Late Night in the Phog". For those of you that don't know that is the first official basketball function for the jayhawks. I ended up taking Drew and Kyle home early because they were tired but we had fun while we are there. Drew loved for me to throw him in the foam pit. He would crawl out and start giving me the more sign.

Play in our new yard!

We are having sooo much fun with our new house and new surroundings. Drew loves playing outside and our dog has finally calmed down a little. We learned the trick to her is let her run and she will come back tired and happy! Anyway... here some pictures of us enjoying some of the last warm days outside. Here is Drew kissing the scarecrow and he has some kind of coversation too but we are not sure what they talk about!
He loves the little tractor that Grandma gave him and he likes to push it every where.

Drew and Daddy taking a walk. I love this picture.

Not afraid of anything. I am trying to keep him out of the water and weeds! :)
