Welcome

I try to update as often as I have time and I hope you enjoy the updates on the kids. Honestly, sometimes I forget about it until someone mentions to me that they check it for updates. I will try to stay on this and keep everyone posted on our family! Thanks!

Blah Blah Fireplace!

I love this stage!!! Drew is talking all the time, however he is the only one that can understand what he is saying. I can normally get an idea of what he is saying but it is so adorable to listen to him ramble. Here are a couple videos of him talking!

Random pics!

AM I IN TROUBLE??? As many of you know or have heard stories, Drew is a handful to say the least. When he gets quiet... Sam and I run to find him because normally that means he is into something that he shouldn't be into. Lately it is climbing, climbing, climbing. Most of the time I can't get a picture when I find him because he is about to fall off something. Yesterday I walked in and he was sitting on his diaper changing station (used toys to climb on) and rubbing his diaper rash cream all over him. This was easier to clean than the time he put it in the carpet!

Here is a crayon that he decided would make a nice snack. He didn't realize until after he chewed the WHOLE crayon that it didn't taste like a snack and spit it.

Here are some pictures from Drews Easter Egg hunt. He didn't stay interested for too long. Maybe next year!

View in our backyard before the snow!

After the snow... it is beautiful in all the seasons!

Cutest little boy!

Yes he tasted dirt!

Story Time Success!

Today we have two huge success stories. First I reluctantly took Drew to story time at our local library. I have taken him a few times however it normally ends with him not wanting to sit and listen to the story. Today he did so good. He did get up a few times , but listened to directions and sat back down. I was a proud mommy today! Then on the way home he told me that he had to poop and that normally means he already has, but not today. He waited to get home, climbed up there and did his business! Yeah Drew!!!

Look at my big boy!

Not sure which song Drew was singing but he was getting into it!

Fantastical Day!!!

Another trip to Lawrence did not lack fun and action. Sam and my sisters husband were both out of town so we decided to get together to distract the boys and us from missing the dads!!!! We went to a place in Olathe called Monkey Business. It was inflatable slides and climbing toys. Those boys ran us until we thought we might pass out. I haven't twisted and turned like that since cheerleading 10 years ago. They would fly up the tower and down the slide and just run and start again. Drew got so tired toward the end that he was just saying "up please" trying to get people to just carry him to the top so he could go down the slide. After Monkey Business we went to a place called Zonkers, which is basically and place with food and small carnival rides for toddlers. We ordered our food right when we got there and Brandon rode the roller coaster 6 times before the food got there!!! We had such a good day and on the way home Brandon said that he had a FANTASTICAL Day! So cute. As if the kids and us weren't tired enough, we got up and went to tumbling the next morning!

Home Delivery!!!!

I got a box in the mail the other day and Drew played in "the boat" for a long time. He climbed in and out, in and out! It looked like so much fun I almost joined him but I was afraid I might get stuck in the box!

Counting!!!

Drew likes to lay on my legs and I push up and count to ten. The other day he just started counting with me, I was surprised when he started counting. In this video he thinks I am trying to take his picture so he is doing his fake smile (little scary smile) but finally he starts counting!

Cousins!!!!

My sister came to town with her two boys, Brandon and Kyle, for my birthday. Drew and I were equally excited. He started playing the moment he saw them and didn't stop until they left. My sister took on the task that no one else dare attempt.... baking with Drew. Drew is very, very busy and not gentle.... I thought baking would be a nightmare with Drew. Well Mandy and Drew proved me wrong. They baked muffins and my little Drew was such a good helper. Thanks for coming Mandy, Brandon and Kyle! We had a blast.

Poor Brandon... Drew loves his cousin. The whole time they were here Drew would hug Brandon any chance he got. Brandon would be sitting in a chair and Drew would climb up to hug him (or smash him) so then Brandon would get down and sit in another chair and Drew would follow. Brandon was very polite.
